Personally, I think my strong point is coming up with a conversation topic and then translating the script we come up with into Spanish. To come up with the script itself, my partner and I had a conversation about cake in English and wrote it down on the document. After coming up with what to talk about, the rest was pretty straight forward. I used multiple translator apps and websites to figure out how to accurately translate each of my lines into Spanish. The most challenging part comes after everything is in Spanish. Translating when you aren't a native speaker and can't roll your r's is very difficult. I would know what I wanted to say, but I couldn't pronounce it. To get better at speaking Spanish, I practice outside of class by using Duolingo. I've spent quite a lot of time on the app practicing either Spanish or French. The app doesn't cover vocabulary however, so I use the apuntes page to improve my skills.
Throughout all of this, Carley was a great partner. She helped write some of the script when I was at college class and didn't have the time, and she came into class when she was supposed to be home. I'd like to thank her for sticking with it when we were struggling and we ended up having a good time.
